TOOLS AND RESOURCES I RECOMMEND
Below are the products and services I personally use and genuinely recommend to my clients. These have made a real difference in my business and the success of the authors I work with.
The links I use below are affiliate links, meaning I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you if you choose to purchase through them. Your support helps me continue to create and provide free resources like the ones above to help you succeed!
Publisher Rocket
Publisher Rocket is a powerful keyword research tool specifically designed for Amazon KDP authors. It helps you find profitable keywords, analyze competition, and discover categories that will help your children's books get found by readers.
Researching all of this manually on Amazon is possible, but difficult. You'll save hours, avoid lots of frustration, and have a solid foundation for success just by researching and developing the metadata (all the details like keywords) of your book with Publisher Rocket (AKA KDP Rocket). BTW, the information you gather form this program will be very valuable on other platforms aside from Amazon.
As I'm writing this, you can purchase Publisher Rocket with a one-time payment (not a subscription!), which makes it extremely cost-effective.
Lisa Ferland's Crowdfunding Solutions for Authors
My author friend Lisa Ferland, whom I affectionately call the "Crowdfunding Queen" for authors, offers an abundance of information to help you run a successful Kickstarter or Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign for your book.
When I launched my first book Ada and the Helpers on Kickstarter, Lisa was a go-to resource for me. If you plan to launch your book through a crowdfunding campaign, I can't recommend Lisa's services enough!
