About

The purpose of Launch Mission Creative is quite simple: We serve people who serve people. Born out of a desire to bless ministries and missions organizations with high-quality design services, we look to Matthew 5:16 for our vision:

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

There are many ministries around the world who do incredible work for the Kingdom of God, but they either don’t know how to shine their light or simply can’t afford the time or funds to do so. Like this quote from Jesus says, we want to help those ministries shine!

We provide a whole list of products and services to help ministries promote their work. Whether it’s a new brandmark, an annual report, marketing booklets, or social media visuals, we are sure we can meet your needs. We encourage you to take a look at our past work to get a glimpse of the type of quality design we have to offer. Once you are ready to get started on your own Launch Mission, contact us here.

Finally as we mentioned, it is our desire to serve those ministries who just don’t have the funds to afford it themselves. Others are blessed with the finances to support such organizations. Is there a ministry or missionary you would like to bless with new design services? Find out how through our Sponsorship Program. Let’s help these incredible ministries do their good work and shine their light brighter together!

Beyond our design services, we also like to offer products that not only inspire our audience but also provide funding for ministries worldwide. Each item you’ll find in our shop supports a ministry or missionary somewhere around the globe. Click here to shop now!

Our Personal Journey

Launch Mission Creative was launched in September 2016 by Travis and Anne Berit Peterson. While it may be a young business, our experience is both deep and wide.

Travis, a native of Wilmington, North Carolina, received a degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University in 1999. He went on to do freelance design work on the side as he took on other various roles in business and ministry, including serving as a volunteer youth pastor for five years. In 2011 he moved to Kona, Hawaii to serve as a full-time missionary with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) as a graphic designer for one of their largest University of the Nations (UofN) campuses. It was shortly after moving there that he met his wife, Anne Berit.

Anne Berit is a true Norwegian Viking (at least in Travis’ heart)! Born and raised in Bergen, Norway, Anne Berit has a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. She was studying counseling at UofN when she and Travis met, and eventually joined the campus as staff.

At the beginning of 2014, and just a few months after the two were married, Travis accepted a job offer as Graphic Design Specialist for a global network of churches and ministries based in the Atlanta, Georgia area. For over a year and a half he helped the organization transition through a major rebranding phase and designed not only their bi-monthly magazine but also many marketing materials ranging from postcards, to booklets, to large event signage. Meanwhile, Anne Berit gave birth to their son Aiden, worked as a freelance translator for a college in Bergen, and did much to renovate their Atlanta home.

In the Summer of 2016, Travis and Anne Berit both decided it was time to spend more time together as a family and give birth to another dream — and so Launch Mission Creative was born.
